A friend recommended Dr Mandy to me after I decided to stop HRT due to a recall on my mammogram. Once I had the all clear I wanted to explore whether I could go back on HRT due to my breast cysts. My consultation was via zoom and we spoke about all things HRT, supplements and menopause related for about 90 minutes. Dr Mandy was a great listener and gave me solid advice based on her clinical expertise. It was well worth having this consultation and I’m looking forward to starting on my new HRT regime. I would highly recommend seeing Dr Mandy if you are struggling with menopausal life

Dr Mandy took the time to listen properly to how I was feeling - this made a huge difference to me. She was very kind and understanding and took care to explain all the pros and cons to me so that I could make an informed decision. I would highly recommend Dr Mandy.

I was recommended by 3 of my friends who had previously consulted Mandy to seek hormone advice. My appointment was via Zoom due to COVID restrictions. I found her to be totally professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable, not only relating to hormone treatment but also in other areas. She gave me excellent advice and has helped me transition to a more suitable type of HRT, together with advising on other health aspects which I will find invaluable. A pleasure to find someone who is an expert in her field! Thank you Dr Mandy.

I visited Mandys clinic in October 2019 after a sudden onset of severe perimenopause symptoms in June.I had seen another specialist in August who was so bad he returned the fee! Mandy listened to all my problems and took time to go through all my options but offering guidance to help decide which route to go down. Mandy is kind caring and professional. I have since returned for a follow up and it has been a long road to get some normality back into my life but I can honestly say with Mandys support it has made symptoms a bit more bearable. We have been through quite a few different treatments and with careful tweaking here and there I can now see a future even if I’m not quite back to normal, I would recommend anyone struggling with menopause problems to get in touch with Mandy and book an appointment.

I wasn't feeling my normal self for quite a while, but the symptoms were a little Insidious. I put my symptoms down to simply being tired and getting a little older, so I carried on with things, but deep down I knew something was not quite right. I lived healthily, exercised and had a reasonably nice life so this wasn't normal for me. Eventually I did some research, and my gut kicked in that this was hormonal. I was particularly interested in Body Identical and Bin Identical treatment. And I knew I would need to see a specialist in this area to get some comprehensive advice and I was happy to travel to see one. However, I thought I would also speak to my GP at home to discuss things, and although she was lovely, I sensed she didn't really know a lot about hormones and the treatments available. She also suggested that it probably wasn't to do with my hormones, and to instead have a rather large amount of other blood tests to eliminate anything else that could be going on. Although I was grateful for the full bloods, the ones I really wanted to know and clarify the results of were the hormone blood tests, but I was told this wasn't normal procedure and the NHS would not test or include hormone tests just for general information, although they were happy to take the other blood tests. I felt a bit unheard. And that this was just prolonging the inevitable. So I offered to pay the hormone tests myself being as blood was being drawn. Which they were happy to do. So all the results came back normal, which was no surprise to me, except for the hormone tests that I had paid for, which I kind of knew would be the case. The GP still seemed a bit unsure about possible strategies for hormone therapies that I requested and was interested in that I mentioned above. I then decided to book a specialist. I looked at quite a few but Mandy stood out. From her Professional training and skills, her credentials and experience, and her lovely polite manner in responding promptly and with out any agenda. She listened and was caring. When I had my appointment, I found her professional, knowledgeable, patient, and extremely personable. She put my mind at rest about what was happening and answered all my questions with ease and expertise. Nothing was too much trouble. The Body Identicals worked for me from the day I took them. I honestly began to feel like I used to feel when I was a bit younger. I felt more energised, more up beat, I slept better, my skin looked better, more sociable and simply just myself again. It was quite amazing. In contrast, once I started feeling myself again (within the week), it made me realise how drained I had been feeling for a long time, physically and emotionally, due to my hormone imbalances, yet I carried on, thinking it was normal to feel that way! Yes ageing is normal, but I realised you don't have to suffer if you don't need to and that there is treatment that could help some imbalances. So for myself, personally, it worked really well! It balanced everything out and gave me my old self back. So I am very grateful for that. I found Mandy such a lovely lady, reassuring and warm, with no hard sell. She also explained the importance of after care and follow ups. Which I am happy to do. I am pleased I chose Mandy as my Specialist. I highly recommend Mandy to any one reading the websites and these reviews, just as I did about 18 months ago, feeling angst and uncertainty about what to do next. I have never looked back. Thank you Mandy x
